Director On Call Supports Women's Shelter

Funeral Home Answering Service Campaign: Purses for Hope

Our Call Specialists are giving back to the community with their campaign; "Purses for Hope". Inspired by a post on the Facebook group "100+ Women Who Care Kingston", Evening Supervisor and Call Specialist Marie Wilkins decided to create an in-house campaign and challenge the Director On Call staff to donate purses with toiletries and personal items for Interval House Kingston!

Training Supervisor Kelly Shaver created a flyer saying "Often when women leave an abusive situation they have NOTHING. Your contribution can help make a new start for women!"

Our staff collected 15+ purses along with other items to be donated to the women's shelter.

"The outpouring of donations from all of our staff and their families - I say families because even mothers, sisters and children also contributed to the purse donations - was a tremendous success" said Marie. "We are a very family oriented company and I think this shows the continued support that we at Director On Call show to our community."
